Privacy Policy
Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how GridMint Puzzles (“the App”) handles information. The App is an offline collection of classic puzzle games published by GridMint Studio.
We designed the App to work without an account and without sending your personal information to our servers, because the App does not operate backend servers for gameplay or user accounts.
Summary
- We do not collect, sell, or share personal information for advertising or analytics.
- We do not require registration or sign-in.
- Game progress and settings are stored locally on your device.
- The App does not request network access and is intended to work fully offline.
Information Stored on Your Device
The App may store the following data locally to provide its features:
- Game scores, statistics, and run history
- Achievement and daily challenge completion status
- App settings (for example: theme, accent color, music preference, sound preference, and reduce motion)
This information is saved using on-device storage technologies (including local database and preferences storage). It remains on your device unless you delete it or uninstall the App.
You can remove local progress using Reset All Progress in Settings, or by clearing app data / uninstalling the App in your device settings.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not knowingly collect or transmit:
- Name, email address, phone number, or other contact details through the App
- Precise or approximate location
- Contacts, photos, files, or media from your device
- Advertising identifiers for ad tracking
- Analytics or crash-reporting data sent to us
Permissions
The App declares no Android permissions in its manifest (zero-permission design). It does not request access to the internet, camera, microphone, contacts, location, storage (beyond its own app-private storage), or similar sensitive capabilities.
Internet, Ads, and Third Parties
- The App is designed to function without an internet connection.
- We do not show third-party advertisements in the App.
- Version 1.0 does not integrate third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. The App uses standard Android libraries (for example, AndroidX, Jetpack Compose, Room, and DataStore) for local app functionality only.
Device Backup
Android may back up app data if you have device backup enabled (for example, through your Google account or device manufacturer backup). Backup behavior is controlled by your device and operating system, not by us directly. Backed-up data, if any, remains subject to your device and platform provider’s policies.
Children’s Privacy
The App is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to address the request.
Data Security
Because data stays on your device, its security also depends on your device settings (screen lock, encryption, and physical access controls). No method of electronic storage is completely secure, but we do not transmit this gameplay data to our servers in normal App operation.
International Users
The App processes information only on your device. We do not transfer your gameplay data to our servers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice within the App where appropriate.
